「In particular, starting with corporate customers that have already adopted “BridgeLAB DR,” an existing demand response (DR) support service, we are strengthening proposals for related additional services. Specifically, based on the needs of corporate customers identified through their use of “BridgeLAB DR,” we are developing and rolling out an energy management diagnostic service for corporate customers that existing corporate customers can readily adopt as an additional service. We also plan to combine it with simplified visualization and analysis functions for electricity use using “BridgeLAB NILM Lite” to enhance customer value and expand revenue opportunities.」
The Group is moving toward a cross-selling model, using existing corporate customers of BridgeLAB DR as the starting point for additional proposals such as energy management diagnostics and BridgeLAB NILM Lite. It also reports orders under a performance-based fee model and expects a full contribution from the second half of the fiscal year ending December 2026. - FY2024First statedAnnual report
「“BridgeLAB DR” supports both “downward DR” and “upward DR.” Unlike conventional demand response (DR) support services, it is a system that enables requests for demand adjustment to electricity consumers, verification of their responses and aggregation of results “easily, without major investment in system modifications.” It is sold to retail electricity providers and others seeking to launch DR services quickly for purposes including improving electricity trading balances, reducing capacity contribution charges and participating in the capacity market.」
The service supports supply-demand balancing associated with the expansion of renewable energy through both downward and upward DR.
