Aidem Global signed a memorandum of understanding on the Specified Skilled Worker program for the road transportation sector with TMS, an Indonesian sending organization. The signing ceremony was held on 1 September 2026, with the initial goal of accepting the first cohort in Japan.
Aidem Global, based in Shinjuku, Tokyo, signed a memorandum of understanding on the Specified Skilled Worker program for the “road transportation sector” with Indonesia's sending organization PT.TMS Indonesia Perkasa (TMS). The signing ceremony was held on 1 September 2026, with the aim of training prospective drivers in Indonesia and facilitating their acceptance for employment in Japan.
The framework under the memorandum is based on a CONFIRMATION LETTER signed concurrently by TMS and Hino Motors Sales Indonesia. As a registered support organization, Aidem Global will provide employment and retention support after acceptance, promoting the creation of an environment in which both accepting companies and foreign workers can work with confidence.
This business is a new model that provides integrated services ranging from human-resource development and recruitment to acceptance support, with the aim of helping address the shortage of drivers. As labor shortages intensify in occupations requiring qualifications such as heavy-vehicle licenses, the company says the initiative will help resolve challenges facing Japan's transportation industry.
Aidem Global provides broad support for the employment of foreign nationals, from highly skilled professionals to Specified Skilled Workers and interns, and is strengthening training and matching in countries including Indonesia, where Japanese-language education is widespread. It says that the number of Specified Skilled Worker job offers secured since 2019 has exceeded 5,000.
