Yakult will relaunch the Food with Function Claim "Yakult1000 糖質オフ" and newly add maintenance of immune function as a listed claim. The product contains 1 billion Shirota strain bacteria per mL and, in addition to its existing functions, promotes health.
Yakult Honsha announced that it will relaunch the Food with Function Claim lactic acid bacteria beverage "Yakult1000 糖質オフ" on Monday, 5 October. Following the product improvements, maintenance of immune function will be displayed as a new function of the Shirota strain of lactic acid bacteria.
The product contains 1 billion Shirota strain bacteria per mL. Its existing functions were stress reduction, improved sleep quality and improved intestinal environment. "Maintenance of immune function" has now been added.
"Yakult1000 糖質オフ" is offered through door-to-door sales by Yakult Ladies and is available in a single 100mL bottle or a 7-bottle pack.
