アマノ released its earnings after the market close on 29 October. Consolidated ordinary profit for the first half (April-September) was ¥8.37 billion, down 20.1% year on year. Progress against the full-year plan was 39.0%, broadly in line with the five-year average of 39.9%.
Consolidated ordinary profit for July-September (the second quarter) was ¥5.71 billion, down 23.3% year on year. The operating profit margin on revenue declined to 11.5% from 15.5%.
Based on first-half results and the unchanged full-year plan, second-half (October-March) consolidated ordinary profit was estimated to fall to ¥13.1 billion.
