ナガホリ announced its earnings after the close on 6 November. First-half ordinary profit fell sharply year on year, while progress toward the full-year plan remained low.
ナガホリ reported consolidated ordinary profit of ¥220 million for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2027 (April–September), down 42.1% year on year. Progress toward the full-year plan was just 22.3%, below the five-year average of 35.3%. Accordingly, although the company left its second-half outlook unchanged, it suggested that the figures could be below plan based on the calculation.
Consolidated ordinary profit for the latest three months, July–September, was ¥170 million, down 53.1% year on year, while the operating margin on sales deteriorated from 5.9% in the same period of the previous year to 4.1%. These figures combine company-reported data with estimates based on the outlook for the current fiscal year.
