M3 announced its consolidated results for April-September under International Financial Reporting Standards. Net income was ¥19.9 billion, down 12% year on year, while revenue was ¥181.8 billion, up 6%, and operating profit was ¥36.3 billion, up 1%.
Revenue growth was driven by support for digital transformation in healthcare settings, research and development and clinical trial support, and overseas operations, which benefited from the weaker yen. Meanwhile, the high-margin marketing support business for pharmaceutical companies was sluggish.
