GMO NIKKO has launched 「GMO AIO Boost for EC」, a new service for e-commerce businesses designed to support purchases through AI agents. The service helps structure product information so that AI agents can correctly recognize, compare and recommend products on e-commerce sites.
GMO NIKKO, a member of GMO Internet Group, will launch 「GMO AIO Boost for EC」, a consulting service for e-commerce businesses, on 8 October 2026. The service specializes the existing 「GMO AIO Boost」, which supports customer acquisition through generative AI, for e-commerce businesses and supports PoCs aimed at realizing agentic commerce.
The service is designed for dedicated consultants to analyze product information and data structures on e-commerce sites and create conditions in which AI agents can accurately recognize, compare and recommend products. This includes organizing and designing information such as product names, descriptions, prices, inventory and target customers, and advancing optimization on the assumption that purchases will be made through AI agents.
The service is provided on a consulting basis, beginning with a proof of concept (PoC) tailored to each company's issues. The basic contract period is 6 months, and fees are determined after requirements are discussed with each company. GMO NIKKO will continue its research into generative AI and AI agents and strengthen support for agentic commerce.
Examples from Japan and overseas include developments related to OpenAI and Stripe's "ACP" and PayPal and Perplexity's "Instant Buy," as well as trends in standards such as Google's "UCP." These developments were cited as potentially accelerating cooperation between AI agents and e-commerce businesses.
