Formalwear specialty store form forma will open a new location at Unimo Chiharadai in Ichihara, Chiba Prefecture. The sales floor will cover approximately 42 tsubo, making it one of the brand's largest stores. The opening date is Friday, 6 November 2026.
Formal concept shop form forma, operated by TOKYO SOIR CO.,LTD., will open a new location at Unimo Chiharadai, a commercial facility in Ichihara, Chiba Prefecture, as the form forma Unimo Chiharadai store. The sales floor will cover approximately 42 tsubo, making it the largest store across the brand. It will be the 4th store in Chiba Prefecture and the 38th nationwide.
The opening is supported by the fact that Ichihara's number of households had reached approximately 120,000 as of 2025, while the Chiharadai area has a higher proportion of residents aged 0 to 14 than Ichihara as a whole and is home to many families raising children. Demand for formalwear is expected in Ichihara, supported by initiatives such as children's cafeterias and the formulation of the city's child policy plan.
The new store will use its approximately 42-tsubo sales floor to offer a wide range of products, including black formalwear, ceremony suits, dresses, accessories and bags. It will feature a spacious layout designed to accommodate customers with strollers, and a formalwear adviser will be on site to provide guidance on occasions for wearing the garments and related etiquette.
TOKYO SOIR CO.,LTD., headquartered in Chuo-ku, Tokyo, said it will continue to establish locally rooted formalwear hubs through new store openings. The company has announced details of the opening plan and an opening commemorative promotion.
