Net Protections has completely revamped the official atone buy now, pay later smartphone app and announced positive feedback from beta users and a download campaign.
Net Protections has completely revamped the official atone smartphone app. The new design incorporates human-centered design and substantially revises the UI/UX to provide an intuitive experience that lets users see their usage and scheduled payment amounts at a glance. The company says the aim is to ease the psychological burden of managing money and provide a more reassuring user experience.
The background to the revamp includes growing psychological pressure associated with the spread of everyday smartphone payments, such as difficulty tracking usage and concerns about overspending. atone has identified resolving these issues as part of its vision and decided on the comprehensive revamp to make the payment experience more comfortable.
The new app's features include information design that lets users check scheduled payment amounts and usage at a glance, benefits such as points back of up to 1.5% to make everyday shopping more rewarding, and a more approachable design with revised guidance text. In a 3-month beta test conducted in advance, 89.3% of the 337 participants said they wanted to continue using the app.
The download campaign commemorating the app's renewal runs from 0:00 on 5 October 2026 to 23:59 on 31 October 2026. Users who meet the entry requirements and log in for the first time will be entered into a prize drawing for points. Details of the campaign will be provided through atone shops.
