Koei Tecmo Holdings has revised upward its full-year earnings forecast and year-end dividend forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027. Revenue is projected at ¥91 billion, operating profit at ¥34 billion, ordinary profit at ¥51 billion and net income at ¥37 billion, with earnings per share projected at ¥110.73.
The company revised upward its full-year revenue and profit forecasts after first-half results exceeded the initial forecasts. The revisions also reflect a review of its foreign exchange assumptions and trends in the financial markets.
The revised full-year forecasts are revenue of ¥91 billion, operating profit of ¥34 billion, ordinary profit of ¥51 billion and net income attributable to owners of the parent of ¥37 billion. Earnings per share was revised to ¥110.73.
The company also recently revised its first-half earnings forecast upward, explaining that sales of major titles released in the previous fiscal year and back-catalogue titles had been strong, while its policy of proceeding cautiously with investments had also had an impact. Non-operating income and expenses are also expected to exceed the plan.
