Kasumigaseki Capital introduced a program setting expected first-year annual compensation for new graduates at ¥14 million and indicated a policy of appointing young talent to executive positions. It will also establish the in-house think tank Kasumigaseki Research Institute to provide opportunities for research talent to play an active role.
Kasumigaseki Capital, a real estate development company listed on the Prime Market of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, has established a rapid-cycle business model and is entering growth markets such as hotels, logistics warehouses and data centers in a timely manner. It is also working on development in the data center sector and aims to grow as a business platform going forward.
The introduction of a graduate recruitment program offering first-year annual compensation of ¥14 million is intended to fairly assess and make use of young talent that is highly rated overseas in Japan's recruitment market. The company's recruitment staff describe it as an initiative to correct a “distortion.”
There are about 10 offer recipients, divided into 3 types and deployed in the field: AI-related engineers, entrepreneurial talent and unique talent. After joining the company, they will gain experience under division heads and be developed into personnel who can contribute wherever they go.
In November, the company will establish Kasumigaseki Research Institute as a department responsible for its in-house think tank functions. It plans to consolidate research themes spanning multiple fields, including tourism, logistics and data security, together with experts and link them to its growth strategy.
