SIIX plans to pay a dividend of ¥50 per share for the fiscal year ending December 2026, marking 20 consecutive periods of dividend increases. The dividend will comprise an interim payment of ¥25 and a year-end payment of ¥25, with the company stating that dividends will be determined after considering the strengthening of retained earnings and future business development.
As part of its shareholder returns, SIIX's basic policy is to pay interim and year-end dividends twice a year, and it disclosed an outlook for a dividend of ¥50.00 per share for the fiscal year ending December 2026. The interim dividend is ¥25.00 and the year-end dividend is also ¥25.00; the interim dividend has already been paid.
The company plans to use retained earnings for investment and future business development, and indicated that it aims to improve return on equity. It also explained that the decision-making bodies for dividends are the Board of Directors for the interim dividend and the general meeting of shareholders for the year-end dividend.
Under the shareholder benefit program, shareholders holding at least 1 trading unit will receive gift cards according to the number of shares held. Specifically, shareholders holding at least 10 trading units will receive a ¥3,000 gift card, those holding at least 5 but fewer than 10 trading units will receive a ¥2,000 gift card, and those holding at least 1 but fewer than 5 trading units will receive a ¥1,000 gift card each March.
A separate lottery-based benefit is also available for long-term shareholders. Once a year, approximately 10 shareholders who have held their shares continuously for at least 1 year are expected to be invited by lottery to a trip including tours of overseas plants.
The policy also notes that the company's articles of incorporation provide, under Article 459 of the Companies Act, that dividends may be paid by resolution of the Board of Directors.
