McDonald's Japan is launching its popular autumn Tsukimi series as a limited-time lineup of 8 products from today, 2 September. New additions include the Smoky Beef Sukiyaki-style Tsukimi, while a new Golden Egg Tartar Sauce for Chicken McNuggets is also being introduced.
McDonald's Japan will begin offering 8 products from the Tsukimi family for a limited time from today, 2 September. The lineup centers on the classic Tsukimi Burger and includes the Cheese Tsukimi, Tsukimi Muffin and this year's new burger, the Smoky Beef Sukiyaki-style Tsukimi.
The lineup also includes the Cheese Cheese Double Tsukimi (Chee Chee Double Tsukimi), available exclusively during Night Mac hours, featuring two types of cheese, Cheddar Cheese and White Cheddar Cheese, to complement the flavor of the Tsukimi Burger and provide a more substantial serving. Other additions include the Tsukimi Pie with Hokkaido butter, red bean paste and mochi, a Tsukimi McShake made with Shine Muscat grapes from Nagano Prefecture, and Golden Egg Tartar Sauce, a new sauce for Chicken McNuggets.
Launched in 1991, the Tsukimi Burger is a perennial favorite marking its 35th anniversary this year and is offered for a limited time each autumn as a seasonal staple. The new Smoky Beef Sukiyaki-style Tsukimi features a savory, smoky sukiyaki-style filling and soft, chewy buns.
