Executive Officer Teraoka Yasuhiro (寺岡泰博), head of the Seibu Ikebukuro flagship store, will retire at the end of September and become General Manager of the Tokyo Sales Department, Sales Administration Division, External Sales Business Division, effective 1 October. Organizational changes were also announced, including Chairman Taguchi Hiroto (田口広人) leaving the board.

In 2023, Teraoka Yasuhiro (寺岡泰博) opposed the sale of the company by Seven & i Holdings and led a strike as labor union chairman. The appointment was intended to facilitate coordination with external parties and reconciliation within the company ahead of the store's reopening after renovation.
Under the organizational changes, deputy store managers at core stores will be appointed at the discretion of each store manager. A New Customer Development function and the CRE Strategy Department will also be established within the External Sales Division. Chairman Taguchi Hiroto (田口広人) will leave the board, and personnel developments involving Seven & i Holdings have also been reported.
