In the cryptocurrency market on the morning of the 7th, BTC was in the ¥12.5 million range, ETH in the ¥3.9 million range and XRP in the ¥220 range. While prices have remained broadly flat since the end of last week, market moves this week have been led by the impact of the U.S. jobs report.
As of 9:10 a.m. on the 7th, Bitcoin was at 1 BTC = the mid-¥12.5 million range, Ethereum at 1 ETH = the early-¥3.9 million range and XRP at 1 XRP = the early-¥220 range. Prices saw little movement at the end of last week, then briefly fell on the night of the 4th following the release of the U.S. August jobs report. Selling subsequently eased, and prices recovered to around $80,000 by the 6th, moving slightly above that level on the morning of the 7th.
Over the past week, net inflows into U.S. spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs were reported at approximately $1.2 billion. Coinbase’s filing of registration documents with the SEC to offer perpetual futures on individual stocks has also drawn attention.
