Tokyo Tatemono has newly installed and completed an approximately 2.87 MW roof-mounted megasolar project at T-LOGI Minami-Funabashi, a logistics facility in Narashino, Chiba. The electricity generated is used for self-consumption, while surplus electricity is wholesaled to TGES for supply under an off-site PPA scheme.
T-LOGI Minami-Funabashi, a ramp-style, multi-tenant logistics facility in Narashino, Chiba, was completed on 30 September. The property is equipped with the largest self-generation facility among its Kanto-region properties, including an approximately 2.8 MW roof-mounted megasolar project.
The solar panels have a rated output of 2,869.76 kW, while the PCS output is 1,999 kW and annual power generation is approximately 3,339,000 kWh. The solar panels were supplied by CHINT NEW ENERGY and the PCS by SUNGROW. Tokyo Gas Engineering Solutions handled the EPC work, and Tokyo Tatemono owns and operates the power generation facility.
The facility is primarily operated for self-consumption, with operation and maintenance of the power generation facility outsourced to TGES. Electricity consumed on site belongs to Tokyo Tatemono and is consumed within the facility. Surplus electricity that cannot be consumed on site is wholesaled to TGES, which combines it with other electricity and supplies it under an off-site PPA scheme.
T-LOGI Minami-Funabashi is a four-story, ramp-style reinforced concrete and steel-framed facility with a total floor area of approximately 96,391.85 m2. In view of logistics demand in and around the Kanto region, the company plans to expand future development in the surrounding area based on its track record of supplying other properties.
