Mitsui High-tec raised its full-year forecast for the current fiscal year, increasing projected operating profit to ¥19.5 billion. Meanwhile, Proship's share price has been volatile since August, and has recently been seeking a short-term rebound.
Mitsui High-tec revised its earnings forecast for the current fiscal year ending January 2027, raising projected operating profit from ¥14.5 billion to ¥19.5 billion. Revenue is expected to exceed the previous forecast due to robust demand and foreign exchange effects, while higher profit from increased sales and a review of expenses are expected to contribute.
After surging on 17 August, Proship rose to ¥2,520 on 24 August. The stock then remained in a correction phase, recently falling below the 25-day moving average and approaching the 75-day moving average. On a weekly basis, the 13-week moving average remains on an upward trend, suggesting a possible opportunity to target a rebound.
Meanwhile, some external Nikkei-related indicators have pointed to the possibility that the lagging span on the Ichimoku Cloud may generate a downside signal. As a result, some analysts believe that any rebound in the short term may be limited to a technical rebound.
