DTS has entered into a partnership agreement with dotData, an AI and data analytics company, and today began providing a new quality factor analysis service for manufacturers through DMS. This is the first initiative to give concrete shape to startup co-creation through collaboration with JAFCO.
DTS, based in Chuo-ku, Tokyo, announced that it has entered into a partnership agreement with dotData, which has AI and data analytics technologies, and will begin collaborating in the field of data utilization. The collaboration will combine dotData's technologies with DTS's data utilization solution, DMS.
As the first initiative, a new quality factor analysis service for manufacturers will be added to DMS and made available. The service supports quality improvement at manufacturing sites by conducting cross-sectional analysis of multiple types of data, including quality, equipment and manufacturing conditions, and identifying potential factors affecting quality.
The collaboration forms part of DTS's efforts to expand its data utilization business, a key policy set out in its medium-term management plan. By combining dotData's AI and data analytics technologies with DTS's industry expertise and systems integration capabilities, the companies aim to turn data utilization into tangible business outcomes. DTS also positions the collaboration as its first initiative to advance startup co-creation through its partnership with JAFCO.
