DTS CORPORATION entered into a collaboration agreement with dotData and launched quality factor analysis services for manufacturers. The service uses AI-based automated feature engineering to efficiently identify the effects of combinations of multiple manufacturing conditions.
On 30 September 2026, DTS CORPORATION entered into a partner agreement with dotData, which specializes in AI and data analytics technologies, and launched quality factor analysis services for manufacturers. The service is intended to expand the use of data under the company's medium-term management plan and supports manufacturers in linking data accumulated at production sites to specific quality improvements.
The new service has been added to the DTS Data Management Solution (DMS) offering. Its key feature is the use of dotData's automated feature engineering technology. AI searches through more than hundreds of millions of data combinations to identify potential factors affecting quality, bringing to light causal relationships that may be overlooked when relying solely on human experience and hypotheses.
The analysis follows a three-stage approach, moving from organizing existing data to using AI to explore potential factors, then comparing the results with on-site knowledge and organizing items for validation. At implementation, an analysis and validation period of approximately 3 months will be provided. The policy is to move to full-scale operation after confirming the effectiveness of the factor analysis.
This collaboration is also one of the first projects to give concrete form to startup co-creation. Going forward, the companies plan to expand its application beyond quality improvement to areas such as equipment maintenance and productivity enhancement. They aim to generate business results through data utilization by deepening collaboration with external partners.
