スターシーズ raised its forecast for current fiscal-year consolidated ordinary profit from ¥1.1 billion to ¥1.25 billion, further lifting its record-high profit forecast. It left its forecast for a profit of ¥230 million for the 3–8 month period unchanged.
スターシーズ announced an earnings forecast revision in the afternoon session on 8 September, raising its forecast for consolidated ordinary profit for the fiscal year ending February 2027 from ¥1.1 billion to ¥1.25 billion. The revision is expected to significantly increase the profit growth rate and result in a further update to the previous record-high profit forecast.
For the 3–8 month period, or the first half, the company maintained its forecast for ordinary profit of ¥230 million. The other items for the period require confirmation against newly released materials.
The full-year earnings forecast showed net sales up ¥30 billion to ¥35,000 million, operating profit up ¥150 million to ¥1,600 million, ordinary profit up ¥150 million to ¥1,250 million, net income up ¥80 million to ¥680 million, and revised earnings per share of ¥73.3.
The revision was attributed to expanding demand for grid-scale battery storage systems, GPU servers and other products, with improving order conditions expected to contribute to earnings.
