To mark its 10th anniversary in Japan, TORRAS held the world's first presentation for media and influencers. It also unveiled its future plans for the Japanese market through a new product experience event and a presentation of its business strategy.
On 29 September 2026, TORRAS held its first global-scale presentation in Japan, attended by approximately 40 media representatives and influencers. The event provided an opportunity to exhibit and demonstrate new products and share the company's business strategy for the future.
Kong Yan (孔燕) and others discussed TORRAS's progress in the Japanese market, which began with its entry in 2016. They highlighted achievements including distribution through approximately 4,000 stores nationwide as of 2026, a top-three position in the smartphone case market on Amazon Japan, the No. 1 global sales volume for stand cases, and cumulative sales exceeding 20 million units. The company indicated that it will strengthen sales, distribution and services from its Japanese subsidiary as its base.
The company emphasized its policy of evolving smartphone cases into “performance gear” and explained product features including three-layer coating, precision hinges and an O-shaped stand case equipped with magnets. For charging products, it introduced designs focused on safety and ease of use, including an automatically retractable cable, heat-suppression features and stable fast charging.
Its global initiatives, including artist collaborations, sponsored events, sports sponsorships, and efforts related to the environment, well-being and support for the next generation, were also introduced. In the Japanese market, the company set out a policy of delivering “real experiences for users” ranging from everyday use to sports and outdoor activities, and conveyed the appeal of its new products to attendees through hands-on demonstrations (touch and try).
