OLTA株式会社 has entered into a capital and business alliance agreement with Resona Holdings and raised ¥2.50 billion through a third-party allotment capital increase under which Resona Holdings was the subscriber. This brings OLTA's cumulative funds raised to ¥7.05 billion through equity financing, or ¥10.73 billion including loans and other forms of financing.
The alliance will advance the provision of cloud factoring through 4 Resona Group banks. The number of partner financial institutions is expected to exceed 50, while OLTA will combine its cloud-based invoicing platform, INVOY, with bank-account connectivity and payment functions to establish an integrated service covering the process from invoicing through payment and receipt of funds.
The funds are expected to be used to expand the organizational structure, strengthen the financial base, and accelerate product development and business growth. OLTA aims to maintain its independence while making swift management decisions, and to create a new standard for SME finance in cooperation with the Resona Group.
