Agent IG Holdings revised upward its earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending December 2026, driven by upside in new contracts at its subsidiary and the start of fee recognition from acquired assets.
Agent IG Holdings announced that it had revised upward its consolidated earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending December 2026, with revenue changed from ¥13.6 billion to ¥14.5 billion, operating profit from ¥200 million to ¥260 million, and net profit from ¥80 million to ¥140 million.
The company cited new contracts exceeding plan as a contributing factor. New life insurance contracts at its subsidiary Financial Japan have been progressing at a pace exceeding the previous plan.
In addition, following completion of the acquisition of assets related to insurance contracts acquired by consolidated subsidiary Agent Insurance Group from Advance Create, the company expects to progressively recognize the related fee income.
In the US business, efforts to develop local markets and cross-selling are progressing. Revenue-sharing income from major partner insurers in the corporate insurance division has also been exceeding expectations, which the company cited as another factor supporting earnings.
