China’s OPPO has announced that it will launch its first foldable smartphone in Japan, the “OPPO Find N6,” with domestic sales beginning on 15 April. The price is expected to exceed ¥300,000, while details including its slim design and camera setup have been reported.
OPPO will launch the “OPPO Find N6” as its first foldable smartphone in Japan. The company is reported to be holding a new-product announcement event on 14 April and beginning domestic sales on 15 April. The product was unveiled overseas in March 2026, and its release in Japan had also been previewed.
The product is a horizontally folding smartphone, and its approximately 8.9 mm thickness when folded has been cited as one of its key features. It was described as achieving a level of slimness comparable to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold7, while an aerospace-grade aluminum alloy has been used for the frame to improve durability.
The camera has a four-camera setup co-developed with Hasselblad. It includes a multispectral camera that detects color temperature and reproduces colors, and is said to have a configuration similar to that of the Find X9. The wide-angle camera features an image sensor with approximately 200 megapixels, a higher resolution than the Find X9.
The separately sold “OPPO AI Pen” can be used for notes and sketches on the large display, and also includes an AI feature that converts hand-drawn diagrams into realistic images. These features were introduced at the announcement event.
