コラボス announced that it had revised its ordinary profit forecast for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2027 upward from the previous forecast of ¥7 million to ¥25 million, or 3.6 times the previous forecast, while leaving its full-year forecast unchanged.
コラボス disclosed a revision to its earnings forecast after the close on 23 October. Ordinary profit for the cumulative second quarter of the current fiscal year (April–September) is now expected to be ¥25 million on a standalone basis, substantially higher than the previous forecast of ¥7 million, narrowing the decline from ¥58 million in the same period of the previous year.
The company said the revision reflected an expected increase in revenue, a partial easing of delays in winning new projects for its proprietary services, lower cost of sales and restrained personnel expenses. As a result, operating profit, ordinary profit and interim net income are expected to exceed the previous forecasts. The full-year ordinary profit forecast remains unchanged at ¥51 million.
The specific revised figures for the first half are as follows. Under the previous forecast (26.04-09), revenue was 410?, operating profit was ¥8 million, ordinary profit was ¥7 million and net income was ¥5 million. The revised figures are ¥776 million, ¥23 million, ¥25 million and ¥16 million, respectively. The upward revision is particularly pronounced for ordinary profit.
The earnings announcement and figures are based on standalone accounts. The schedule for future earnings announcements is expected to be disclosed on the second-quarter results announcement date.
