GREE HD decided to make RINDO Entertainment a consolidated subsidiary by acquiring additional shares. The revenue forecast for FY2027 was revised upward by ¥6 billion through the addition of the male idol business.
グリーホールディングス announced on 28 September that it would acquire additional shares in RINDO Entertainment, an equity-method affiliate, and make it a consolidated subsidiary. The move is intended to expand its business portfolio in live entertainment.
RINDO operates a business using the male idol groups it owns and has established a foundation for profitability following investment by REALITY Studios. RINDO is scheduled to become a consolidated subsidiary from the second quarter of FY2027 as グリーホールディングス raises its stake to 80%.
REALITY Studios has reached a turning point in monetization after previously prioritizing investment, achieving both monthly profitability and operating profitability. The GREE group as a whole is gradually establishing its business foundation in live entertainment.
Revenue was revised upward by ¥6 billion from the previous forecast of ¥51 billion to ¥57 billion. The operating profit forecast was unchanged at ¥3.9 billion.
