Bunka Shutter has added a specified fire protection equipment specification to Cool Keeper Tosenbo, an insulated door for openings with temperature differences in refrigerated and frozen warehouses and food-processing plants, and launched the product. The new specification is based on the example specification in Notification No. 1369 under the Building Standards Act. 3 types are available according to the opening size and ease of use: single-leaf, unequal-leaf double and double-leaf.
The double-leaf type accommodates openings up to 2.4 meters wide and 2.2 meters high. Prices are ¥2.6 million for a double-leaf door with an effective opening 2 meters wide and 2 meters high, and ¥1.53 million for a single-leaf door with an effective opening 1 meter wide and 2 meters high. Installation and transportation costs are charged separately.
The Bunka Shutter Group has identified heat shielding and thermal insulation as key words in its growth strategy. With the addition of this specification, the group plans to promote proposals for products with thermal insulation performance for refrigerated and frozen warehouses.
