Bunka Shutter announced that it would expand the lineup of “Cool Keeper Tosenbo,” an insulated door for refrigerated and frozen warehouses, by adding a “specified fire-resistant equipment specification” and begin sales on 15 October.
Bunka Shutter has added a “specified fire-resistant equipment specification” based on Notification No. 1369 of the Building Standards Act to “Cool Keeper Tosenbo,” an insulated door with high thermal-insulation performance that supports temperature control inside refrigerated and frozen warehouses. The new specification can also be used for openings in areas that have previously been difficult to accommodate, such as fire compartments and floor-area compartments.
The new specified fire-resistant equipment specification is available in 3 types depending on the opening conditions: single-leaf, unequal double-leaf or double-leaf. In particular, the double-leaf type is designed to accommodate large openings up to 2.4 m wide and 2.2 m high.
As reference information on product specifications and pricing, the specified fire-resistant equipment specification is listed at ¥2,600,000 for the double-leaf type with an effective opening of 2,000 mm wide × 2,000 mm high, and ¥1,530,000 for the single-leaf type with an effective opening of 1,000 mm wide × 2,000 mm high. Sales are scheduled to begin on 15 October 2026.
