TEAC has announced the CD-200MKII and CD-200BTMKII, a new professional CD player model equipped with a Bluetooth receiver. Building on the established CD-200/CD-200BT models, the new players add playback functions.
The CD-200MKII is priced at ¥70,000 before tax and the CD-200BTMKII at ¥80,000 before tax. Domestic release is scheduled for late January 2027. Both models are designed for audio applications in schools, public facilities and retail stores, as well as halls and event PA systems.
Playback functions include auto cue, auto ready, call and power-on play. The players also support data CD playback, including WAV/MP3/MP2 files. MP2 is supported only by the CD-200BTMKII.
The players feature 10-second shock-proof memory to improve playback stability and prevent skipping when subjected to vibration. The CD-200BTMKII can register up to 8 Bluetooth devices and switch between them, with the connection status viewable on the unit's display.
