The new Impreza for the North American market has been announced as a 2027 model, with two trims, Base and RS. Pricing starts at approximately ¥3.86 million for the Base and ¥4.63 million for the RS.
On September 24, SUBARU's North American subsidiary announced the new Impreza for the 2027 model year. Symmetrical AWD is standard across the range. The entry-level Base has received a price cut, while pricing for the RS remains unchanged. It is positioned as the most affordable AWD vehicle in the North American market. The lineup consists solely of the Base and RS, including color and trim configurations. The entry-level Base is priced below the 2026 model, while the RS remains at the same price as the previous model. The current exchange rate is approximately ¥157.30 to the dollar.
Both trims are powered by a new 2.5-liter horizontally opposed engine producing 180ps. The transmission is a Lineartronic continuously variable transmission (CVT), with an 8-speed manual mode operated via paddle shifters. Symmetrical AWD is standard across the range, along with SI-Drive, which allows the driver to switch between Intelligent and Sport settings according to driving conditions.
