ZOZO NEXT’s CEO changed from Sawada Kotaro (澤田宏太郎) to Yamada Takayasu (山田貴康) effective 1 October. Former CEO Sawada Kotaro (澤田宏太郎) is expected to remain involved in management as a director.

The company aims to address user issues in the fashion sector through technology. It is conducting R&D through the ZOZO Research Institute, a research institution focused on fashion, and MATRIX, an organization established to create new businesses.
After graduating from Keio University, Yamada Takayasu (山田貴康) joined Rakuten in 2000. After overseeing the planning and development division for e-commerce-related services, he joined ZOZO NEXT in 2017 and was responsible for measurement technology services and overseas expansion. Most recently, he had served as CEO of ZOZO NEW ZEALAND LIMITED.
