Nidec President Kishida resigned, and Kaida Michio (戒田 理夫), who serves as senior executive officer and CTO, was selected as the new president. Kaida is expected to continue serving as CTO while also becoming CEO, and will take office as president, executive officer and CEO effective 29 September 2026.
Nidec President Kishida Mitsuya (岸田 光哉) resigned. Kaida Michio (戒田 理夫) was selected as the new president, and will serve concurrently as senior executive officer and CTO.
Kaida will continue serving as CTO while also taking on the role of CEO. He will take office as representative director, president and executive officer effective 29 September 2026. His formal positions are expected to be decided following an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders.
