TISI Inc., Welby and Welby Healthcare Solutions entered into a business partnership agreement to strengthen regional healthcare collaboration. On the same day, they also entered into an agreement for a third-party allotment capital increase that will make WHS an equity-method affiliate of TISI Inc.
TISI Inc., Welby and Welby Healthcare Solutions announced that they had entered into a business partnership agreement to strengthen their regional healthcare collaboration business. Specific areas of collaboration, including stronger links between their PHR services, were outlined on the date of the agreement.
Under the partnership, TISI Inc.'s Health Care Passport plus will be linked with the Welby Group's Welby Mykarte and MeDaCa services, with the aim of expanding information sharing from health and disease prevention through treatment and long-term care into regional healthcare collaboration centred on local governments.
Against a backdrop of rising demand for medical and long-term care services due to the declining birthrate and ageing population, personnel shortages and regional disparities have become challenges. Collaboration among local governments, medical institutions and insurers, centred on PHR services, is regarded as increasingly important.
On the same day, TISI Inc. agreed to enter into a share subscription agreement relating to the third-party allotment capital increase to be conducted by WHS, and WHS is expected to become an equity-method affiliate of TISI Inc.
