In Inshokuten.com's ranking of restaurant property rents by station for the first half of FY2026, Harajuku ranked first, while the average rent per tsubo across the top 100 stations rose approximately 7% year on year.
The survey covered restaurant properties registered on Inshokuten.com nationwide and aggregated rent levels for the top 100 stations using data from April through September 2026. The top 10 included Harajuku, Shirokanedai, Shibuya, Meiji-jingumae, Ebisu, Mitsukoshimae, Seibu-Shinjuku, Ginza, Omotesando and Nakameguro. Rent per tsubo and year-on-year changes were shown for each station.
The average rent per tsubo across the top 100 stations was approximately ¥36,100, up approximately 7% from approximately ¥33,700 in the same period a year earlier. Harajuku and Shirokanedai were the 2 stations exceeding ¥50,000, and the number of stations at ¥45,000 or more also increased from the previous year.
The top 10 were all stations in Tokyo's 23 wards. Outside Tokyo, Namba ranked highest, but all of the top stations this period were in the 23 wards. Namba and other stations in external areas ranked highly but fell outside the top 10.
The data is highly timely and includes specific rents per tsubo, such as ¥52,133 in Harajuku and ¥47,824 in Shibuya. The company plans to continue providing useful information to restaurant developers and operators through data analysis.
