Increases in head office and common expenses associated with the transition to a holding company temporarily depressed segment earnings, but the impact is expected to disappear in the fiscal year ending December 2027. In Engineering and Manufacturing, although demand for domestic prototype manufacturing and sales declined, demand for design and development services expanded due to the effects of investment in human capital and the expansion of operating locations. Increased software sales in India supported overall earnings.
