In earnings announcements released after the market close today, 25 August, ミロク significantly raised its full-year net profit forecast and is now expected to post a record high for the first time in 21 fiscal years. Meanwhile, タカショー reported a significant increase in first-half ordinary profit from the same period a year earlier.
Among the earnings announcements and earnings revisions released after the market close today, 25 August, ミロク revised its consolidated bottom-line forecast for the fiscal year ending October 2026 upward by 4.7-fold, from its previous forecast of ¥610 million in profit to ¥2.84 billion in profit, and is now expected to set a record high for the first time in 21 fiscal years. A ¥2.2 billion gain on the sale of investment securities is expected to boost net profit. The change was also affected by the approximate finalization of the grant amount under Kochi Prefecture's business-location promotion program for the ミロク日章工場.
タカショー reported first-half (February-July) ordinary profit of ¥463 million, up 32.7% year on year, as higher revenue and an improvement in foreign exchange gains and losses boosted profit. Progress against its full-year plan of ¥520 million reached 89.0%, raising expectations for an upside to its earnings outlook. The increase was attributed to expanded inclusion in designs and the introduction of its products at major chains in the non-residential sector.
One stock, including ホテリリート, is scheduled to announce earnings on 26 August. Kabutan News said it provides lists of stocks announcing earnings or revising their earnings outlooks, together with share prices, PERs and yields.
