On 25 August, Miroku raised its forecast for current-period net profit from the previously projected ¥610 million profit to ¥2.84 billion, forecasting a record high for the first time in 21 fiscal years. Takasho posted first-half ordinary profit of ¥463 million, reaching 89.0% progress toward its full-year plan.
Miroku raised its consolidated net profit forecast for the fiscal year ending October 2026 from the previous forecast of a ¥610 million profit to a ¥2.84 billion profit, or 4.7 times the previous forecast, and expects to post a record high for the first time in 21 fiscal years. The primary factor behind the upward revision was the recognition of ¥2.2 billion in gains on the sale of investment securities held by the company.
Although the company posted a net loss in the previous fiscal year, it expects to return to profitability this fiscal year. The forecast also reflects the largely finalized grant amount under Kochi Prefecture's business location promotion program in connection with the operation of Miroku's Nissho plant.
Takasho posted consolidated first-half ordinary profit of ¥463 million, reaching 89.0% progress toward its full-year plan of ¥520 million. The increase in profit was driven by expansion in the non-residential segment of its professional-use business and an improvement in foreign exchange gains and losses.
