Toyota Motor Corporation has announced updates to the new Crown Crossover. Details have been revealed on the exterior revisions, adoption of a fifth-generation hybrid system, and pricing for the main grades.
The updates announced on 2 September include revised exterior styling for the Crown Crossover, with changes to the rear design and an enhanced overall stance to create a more low-slung appearance. A new Neutral Black body color has been added, while the blacked-out treatment on the upper bonnet area combines a premium feel with a sportier character.
In terms of driving performance, the model adopts a fifth-generation hybrid system using a 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine. Maximum output has increased for the CROSSOVER Z and G, while the CROSSOVER G’s WLTC fuel economy has improved to 23.1 km/L. The RS also gains model-specific equipment, including red-painted brake calipers.
Inside, the focus on audio quality has been enhanced through the adoption of a high-fidelity sound system. Attention has also been given to improving the driving experience, with features including paddle shifters and a dimpled leather steering wheel.
Pricing is set at ¥5,179,900 for the CROSSOVER G, ¥5,999,400 for the CROSSOVER Z, and ¥6,739,700 for the top-end CROSSOVER RS. The Crossover will go on sale on 3 September, the Sport and Sedan are scheduled to launch on 21 September, and the Estate is scheduled for introduction at the end of 2026.
