Shikibo announced an earnings revision after the close on 29 October. It raised its ordinary profit forecast for the cumulative first half of the current fiscal year (April–September) from the previous ¥100 million to ¥490 million, a substantial increase although still below ordinary profit of ¥510 million in the same period of the previous year.
The revised first-half figures were revenue of ¥25,300 million, operating profit of ¥630 million, ordinary profit of ¥490 million, net profit of ¥290 million and EPS of ¥22.8. The dividend was unchanged at ¥25.
The full-year forecast remained at the previous ¥900 million, reflecting the conditions for revising the current-year earnings forecast.
