FOJ announced that it would open the corporate members-only dining facility "Ginza Jion" while also entering into a business partnership with JTB to provide dining experiences.
FOJ announced plans to open "Ginza Jion," a corporate members-only dining facility focused on food in Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo, and to provide chef-prepared dining services through a business partnership with JTB. By limiting membership to a small number of members, the facility will place emphasis on confidentiality and privacy and accommodate a range of uses, including breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The facility will operate on a fully reservation-based, private-booking basis, with members paying ongoing usage fees under a monthly membership model. Membership will be limited to 6 corporations, with each visit generally expected to accommodate 6 people and up to 8 people at most. Dining services will be provided through the partnership with JTB.
Using its Living Auberge service, JTB will plan and arrange dining experiences involving multiple chefs and provide services customized for each corporation. Fees are expected to be charged separately depending on the services used, and contracts will be concluded individually between FOJ and each corporate member.
FOJ positions the facility as a new growth driver and plans to validate and expand the business model with a view to expanding into other regions. Over the medium term, it aims to expand its earnings base and enhance corporate value.
