Phi Hoa (フィ・ホア), Representative Director and CEO of ONE-VALUE株式会社, spoke at the FY2026 Vietnam Business and Human Resources Seminar held in Kanagawa Prefecture on 8 September 2026. The seminar was hosted by the Kanagawa Institute for Industrial Promotion, with cooperation from Kanagawa Prefecture, JETRO Yokohama, Bank of Yokohama, PRONEXUS and others.
The presentation explained that expanding into Vietnam is not simply a question of whether to enter the market, but that when and in what form to make the decision can determine success or failure. It also pointed out that Japanese companies' purchasing power and negotiating terms may change as foreign exchange rates and market assumptions evolve.
The three issues covered in the presentation were as follows. First, opportunities remain in frozen and refrigerated warehouses in northern Vietnam, while investment in ambient-temperature warehouses is advancing, so investment decisions should be made more specific by considering regional supply and demand and infrastructure investment. Second, companies should consider the concept of forming equal partnerships with local businesses in the IT sector, including capital participation and acquisitions. Third, the presentation outlined how to select among M&A options involving local companies, including joint ventures, capital participation and acquisitions, as well as the importance of confirming top management involvement, minority shareholders, human resources and execution capabilities.
The seminar overview listed the date and venue, the hosting, co-hosting and cooperating organizations, and the presentation topics. It also introduced ONE-VALUE株式会社's business areas, including support for Vietnam business strategies and human resources services.
