HP Japan announced the HP Smart Tank 7605 as a new addition to its lineup of high-capacity ink-tank printers, designed to deliver low running costs and ease of use. Intended to support productivity among sole proprietors and freelancers, the printer features a design that reduces the frequency of ink refills and a simple refill mechanism.
The HP Smart Tank 7605 uses a high-capacity ink-tank system. Its everyday usability is enhanced by bottle-based ink refilling and an ink-level window on the tank. The printer will be priced at ¥58,300, including tax, and is scheduled to go on sale from 3 September.
To coincide with the launch, limited-time product demonstrations will be offered at Business-Airport, Tokyu Land Group's member-only shared-office brand. The experience period will run from 3 September 2026 to the end of October, with actual units scheduled to be installed at 8 major locations.
