HP Japan announced the new HP Smart Tank 7605, a large-capacity ink tank printer designed for low-cost, high-volume printing. A limited-time hands-on opportunity will be available at Business-Airport, Life & Work Design’s members-only shared-office brand.
HP Japan announced the HP Smart Tank 7605 as the latest addition to its HP Smart Tank series of large-capacity ink tank printers. Designed to deliver low running costs and ease of use, the printer supports setup, printing and scanning from smartphones, as well as cloud connectivity. It is also set to include features that enhance productivity in everyday business operations, including fax, an ADF and a front-loading paper tray.
Key features include the ability to print approximately 6,000 black-and-white pages and 8,000 color pages using the included ink. Ink levels can be checked at a glance through the front tank window and LEDs, while the printer uses a bottle-insertion design that minimizes spills during refills. Operation is intuitive, with guidance provided through a 3-inch touchscreen and front LED lighting.
The printer combines printing, copying, scanning and faxing in a single unit and includes an ADF with a capacity of up to 35 sheets. Automatic duplex printing and the front-loading paper tray support up to 250 sheets, helping streamline everyday document output. Pigment ink is used for black, while dye-based ink is used for color, supporting a wide range of applications. Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi and wired LAN.
As a hands-on opportunity for the new product, units will be installed at 8 major Business-Airport locations, the members-only shared-office brand operated by Life & Work Design of the Tokyu Land Corporation Group. The trial period is scheduled to run from 3 September 2026 through the end of October, and a campaign for members will also be held. The sales price is ¥58,300 including tax, and sales will begin on 3 September.
