Straker Japan introduced examples of AI-driven communications and disclosure at Accelerate Tokyo 2026. Using SwiftBridge AI and AI Dubbing, the presentation demonstrated faster disclosure and the production of multilingual videos.
Straker Japan Co., Ltd.’s representative director, David Sowerby (デイヴィッド・サワビー), spoke at Accelerate Tokyo 2026, an event hosted by IBM Japan. The seminar introduced a comprehensive overhaul of an AI-centered platform and initiatives to accelerate simultaneous disclosure in Japanese and English.
The presentation explained that while AI agents would replace routine tasks, personnel would need to change from routine operations to areas such as decision-making and accountability. The platform overhaul is being carried out under a partnership with IBM, and an example was presented in which personnel changed from operations-focused roles to research and development, innovation creation and relationship building in just 6 months.
SwiftBridge AI, which is designed to shorten disclosure processes, uses Tiri, a proprietary small language model. It was explained that delivery times for earnings releases and earnings presentation materials had changed from 7–10 business days to within 3 business days, while English executive summaries and timely disclosure information could be delivered within 1 business day. Full-text delivery is expected to be completed within 1 business day going forward.
AI Dubbing strengthens the communication of corporate stories through video by using AI to reproduce speakers’ voices, facial expressions and lip movements and naturally generate multilingual videos. A Think 2026 demonstration showed an English keynote being presented as a Japanese video in about 1 hour, illustrating the potential to strengthen communications for overseas investors.
