Mimaki Engineering Co., Ltd. raised its consolidated earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027 and also increased its dividend forecast. The stock was reported to have shown a more limited decline in afternoon trading.
Mimaki Engineering Co., Ltd. raised its consolidated earnings forecasts for the fiscal year ending March 2027 for sales, operating income and net income. The sales forecast was raised from ¥91.0 billion to ¥91.4 billion, operating income from ¥9.5 billion to ¥10.3 billion, and net income from ¥6.1 billion to ¥6.7 billion. Accordingly, the annual dividend forecast was increased to ¥64, with ¥32 each for the interim and year-end dividends.
The factors behind the upward revisions included substantial growth in ink sales across markets from the previous fiscal year to the current fiscal year, as well as sales of products for sign graphics (SG), industrial products (IP), and textiles and apparel (TA), which drove performance. Refunds of additional U.S. tariffs also contributed.
