ZenGroup has expanded its API integration with Japan Post’s Zonos Dashboard to support DDP shipping to Europe. The initiative will increase the number of parcels eligible for DDP delivery to Europe and enable duties to be paid in advance.
From 14 October 2026, ZenGroup will begin supporting DDP shipping for international mail to Europe via Japan Post across its international purchasing service “ZenMarket” and cross-border e-commerce marketplaces “ZenPlus” and “ZenLuxe.” This expands to Europe the API integration first introduced for shipments to the United States, enabling the delivery of parcels that were previously subject to shipping restrictions because they were not eligible for DDP.
For eligible parcels, overseas customers can pay duties and taxes in advance together with the international shipping fee, reducing the administrative burden at the time of delivery. Through its services for the United States and Europe, ZenGroup is developing a logistics framework that uses Japan Post and Zonos Dashboard.
The background is a review of the delivery conditions for international mail to Europe, which had created a distinction between parcels eligible for DDP and those that were not. ZENGroup’s policy is to respond flexibly to DDP eligibility based on the destination, declared value and shipping method.
Following its services for the United States, ZenGroup plans to further diversify its delivery options and strengthen customs-clearance capabilities, including the launch in September of new delivery routes to 10 European countries through its partnership with Nova Global. These efforts will strengthen its ability to deliver Japanese products reliably worldwide.
ZenGroup Inc. operates a suite of platforms supporting cross-border e-commerce and aims to provide a one-stop solution for overseas sales.
