ポーターズ announced that it had revised its consolidated net income forecast for the fiscal year ending December 2026 downward, from a profit to a loss, and that its second-half plan was also expected to turn from a profit to a loss. The company said the main factors were delays in the new investment business and difficulty securing job listings.
After the close of trading on 30 September, ポーターズ announced a revision to its earnings outlook, withdrawing its previous profit forecast and revising its consolidated net income forecast for the fiscal year ending December 2026 downward to a loss. Under the revised forecast, the previous ¥212 million profit is expected to become a ¥113 million loss, while the previous fiscal year recorded a ¥129 million profit. The outlook for the fiscal year has consequently shifted to a loss.
Consolidated net income for the second half, July–December, was also revised from a profit forecast to a loss forecast. The previous ¥108 million profit is expected to become a ¥217 million loss. The same period of the previous year recorded a ¥30 million profit, but a loss is now expected.
The company said the reasons for the revision included a downward revision to the consolidated sales forecast. The delay in the software release for the new investment business segment and difficulty securing paid job listings for atB Group's Bangladesh recruitment media business had an impact. It also explained that the sales plan for the ポーターズ segment was revised downward due to the delayed launch of KIKAN flex.
In light of these circumstances, the company said the second-half ID plan was expected to fall below the initial forecast, affecting total sales. Delays in acquiring new customers were cited as a factor weighing on the overall earnings outlook.
