“Logicross Osaka Taisho II,” a multi-tenant refrigerated and frozen logistics facility in Taisho-ku, Osaka, is scheduled for completion. All units feature variable temperature settings, meeting demand for logistics networks connecting port logistics with consumer markets in the Kansai region.
The property, jointly developed by Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd., Norinchukin Bank, JA Mitsui Leasing Building and MUFG Finance & Leasing, is scheduled for completion on 31 October 2026. Located at a logistics hub connecting Osaka Port with major consumer markets in Kansai, it will operate as a multi-tenant refrigerated and frozen facility designed to reduce initial investment.
All units can be operated with variable temperature settings ranging from -21°C to +5°C, while some units can operate from -27°C to +5°C. The facility provides a floor load capacity of 1.5 t/m² and a clear height below beams of 5.5 m, and is designed with loading bays on both sides to increase the number of trucks that can dock simultaneously.
Environmental initiatives include installing solar panels, introducing natural refrigerants and using domestic timber. The facility is scheduled to obtain the highest-ranking ZEB certification under BELS and the highest rank under CASBEE. Domestic timber will be used in common areas, with consideration given to displaying timber volume and carbon storage.
The property is located at 1-46 Tsurumachi 1-chome, Taisho-ku, Osaka. It comprises 4 above-ground floors, has a total floor area of approximately 45,430 m² and a site area of approximately 21,660 m², and is designed to accommodate up to 3 tenants. Construction began on 20 January 2025, with completion scheduled for 31 October 2026.
