Kioxia Holdings plans to split each share into 3 shares, with 30 September as the record date, and split-adjusted trading will begin on 29 September. Kioxia Holdings has announced plans to split each share into 3 shares, with 30 September as the record date, and the split will be reflected in adjusted share trading from 29 September. The post-split reference price is estimated at approximately ¥18,193. While the split does not directly change the stock’s theoretical value, the minimum trading lot will remain unchanged at 100 shares.
For the first quarter of the fiscal year ending June 2026, the company posted substantial increases in revenue and profit, with revenue of ¥1.767 trillion, operating profit of ¥1.270 trillion and net income attributable to owners of the parent of ¥842.2 billion. Revenue growth was driven primarily by demand for data centers related to generative AI and higher NAND prices, with the weaker yen also contributing. Provisions for litigation losses and share-based compensation expenses, however, partially offset profit growth.
For the second quarter, the company forecasts revenue of ¥2.390 trillion and operating profit of ¥1.890 trillion, assuming that strong data-center demand will continue. However, profit margins could come under pressure depending on a slowdown in cloud procurement growth and the impact of increased NAND supply.
