Aidem Global, Seta Tsukinowa Driving School and Tsukinowa Global Partners have entered into a memorandum of understanding to provide integrated support for Indonesian workers seeking specified skilled worker status in the road transport industry and Japanese driving licences. The parties will combine e-learning support before arrival in Japan with driving instruction after arrival, establishing a system geared towards supporting workers from local training through to settling into employment.
Aidem Global has entered into a three-party memorandum of understanding to provide Indonesian specified skilled workers being trained for the road transport industry with integrated support through to obtaining a Japanese driving licence, including written-test preparation through e-learning before arrival in Japan and driving instruction after arrival.
The memorandum was signed on 22 October 2026. The 3 parties will combine their respective expertise to establish a support system through to licence acquisition, drawing on their expertise in training foreign workers, learning support and driving instruction.
Under this initiative, obtaining a Japanese driving licence is mandatory for working under the specified skilled worker status for the “road transport industry”, and the parties aim to create an environment that facilitates licence acquisition within the constraints of the period of residence. As of September 2026, Aidem had established a scheme integrating support from local training through employment and retention, and the new collaboration will provide integrated support covering referrals, education and driving instruction.
Going forward, Aidem Global, Seta Tsukinowa Driving School and Tsukinowa Global Partners will work together to develop an environment supporting foreign workers from training through obtaining driving licences and transitioning to and working under the specified skilled worker status.
